Day 1 Reflections

April 17th, 2008 · No Comments

If today has been a successful one, you’re head is swirling with new information and ideas. I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Take a moment to reflect. Leave a brief comment responding to these three items:

  1. One thing I learned today…
  2. One thing I can immediately use with my students…
  3. One thing I’m a bit confused about or want to learn more about…

Thanks for all your hardwork. Go forth and blog!

Day 1 Introductions

April 17th, 2008 · 1 Comment

Welcome! I’m excited about learning alongside you today. Since we’re exploring blogs today, I’d like us to introduce ourselves via blog commenting.

To leave a comment, scroll down the page to the empty boxes. Type in your name, e-mail address, and the anti-spam word (you can leave the website box blank if you don’t yet have a website). Next, in the big box, type a brief introduction. You might consider sharing the following:

  • The grade/subject you teach
  • How many years you’ve been teaching
  • An interesting tidbit about yourself (a hobby, a recent happening…)
  • What you’re most excited about learning today

Finally, click SUBMIT, and pat yourself on the back–you’ve taken the first step into the blogging world!
