Share information from conferences and about upcoming PD opportunities
Use as a reflective tool for PD sessions
Provide additional resources and information to continue and sustain learning.
As specialists in the co-op who work primarily with teachers, a blog would allow us to communicate all types of information to our participants. We could share latest reads, information from conferences and workshops, and teaching strategy ideas. We could also post models in video form of examples of best practices. We would be modeling the use of 21st Century tools for our participants.
We could use this during a workshop to get feedback. We could use this after a workshop for feedback.
We could use this to share information learned at our monthly meetings or from conferences that we have attended.
Less formal way of retrieving information on workshops.
Staff development updates.
Upcoming events for teachers & staff.
Great Reads page for book insights.

We envision using blogs to post information for teachers on reading (Rhonda) and behavior (Rita).
